Just recently, I had the great honor and privilege of meeting the "Mick Jagger" of the hair industry. I guess he noticed the state of my hair on that particular day I walked into his salon and inquired upon the Carribean Dream Relaxer and if it could make my hair beautiful. I have had the Caribbean Dream Relaxer Treatment done three times now, and have always loved the results. I recently stopped by Yellow Strawberry to have a refresher treatment. As I did not have much time, I decided to try the new Caribbean Dream Smoothie. What a wonderful option! Not only was it a quick and easy alternative, but the aroma was milder, and there was no wait time between the treatment and getting my hair wet afterwards! (The full straightening treatment requires that you keep your hair dry for 72 hours after the relaxer). This is the perfect service for in-between straightening sessions. Congratulations on continuing to add choices and innovations, even when I thought it couldn't get any better!

WOW!!! How soft and moist the hair came out after using the Caribbean Dream Relaxer!

My daughter has a tremendous amount of hair. It is long, curly and gets noticed wherever she goes. Yet, the enormous volume of hair is overwhelming and i was desperately looking for a product that would tame the curl and make it manageable. CDR did just that! And how easy it is to wet brush it now. The knots just melt away. I wanted to keep the hair curly but manageable and CDR was the solution.

What i really like about CDR is how soft and moist the hair is after the treatment. I was so delightfully surprised! Other products i have tried left her hair dry or smelling burnt so i was afraid to redo the treatment with these kinds of results. However, after the first CDR treatment, i know i could continue using this product to keep her beautiful curls soft, manageable and healthy.

About four years ago, I decided I needed to do something new with my extremely curly, very long, hair. I decided that I would have it cut and chemically straightened, having wondered all my life what it would be like to have soft, smooth, straight hair. I had no idea what this would entail or if it would even work.

I called a local salon and was told about the Caribbean Dream Relaxer. I made an appointment and went in that very day! When I arrived and the stylist looked at my hair, she told me that she wasn't sure it would work since my hair had been colored so many times and was badly damaged. My hair was really long so I told her we could cut it to the shoulders and that I wanted to go ahead and try the relaxer and take my chances!

My hair was cut and the Caribbean Dream Relaxer was applied. The process took a couple of hours, but when it was done, both the stylist and I were shocked at the results. My hair was beautiful! It was straight and smooth and soft and looked so natural, neither of us could believe how well it came out. I was ecstatic. For the first time in my life, I had the hair I had for so long envied on other women!

When my friends saw me, they couldn't believe how straight and soft my hair was. I have extremely curly frizzy hair. I have done many hair straightening procedures in the past leaving my hair fake stick straight and damaged. Three years ago I decided to try one last straightening procedure and I found out about carribean dream.the procedure didn't use dangerous chemicals and made my hair straight but not stick straight. It's very easy to do my hair now, its soft, and not damaged. I've had it done about 5 or 6 times. I'm very greatfully.

I have been to other salons to have my hair cut and straighten but was never satisfied with the end results. I have different allergies and after having the Brazilian keratin hair treatment and a hot iron used and seeing smoke coming from my hair I began looking for a salon that offered an alternative to the Brazilian keratin hair treatment.

After searching the web I found the Yellow Strawberry Salon. I'm so glad that I called and made an appointment for a consultation. You were very professional and made me feel at ease in that you were going to take great care of my hair.

I'm very pleased with the results of the Caribbean Dream Relaxer and it was well worth the cost. My hair is soft, silky and easy to brush and manage.

I had the CDR straightening treatment done a month ago at Yellow Strawberry - Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I am so happy with the result. It has greatly reduced the amount of time I have to spend on my hair. My hair was thick with unruly waves and slightly frizzy, especially in the Florida humidity. After the CDR treatment my hair texture is now very straight yet it still has body. I no longer need to blow dry my entire head of hair to get it straight, I only blow dry to style the sections I want styled. This is a great treatment for anyone looking to get their hair under control, especially if you are custom to spending a lot of time getting it straight by blow drying and using a flat iron. I no longer need to worry about getting caught in the rain or steamy weather. I do use a leave in conditioner which adds to the shine and softness.

I am a Jamaican born multiracial (Chinese/Black/White) girl who has naturally curly/frizzy hair. For years, my hair was relaxed with traditional relaxers, but I found that I always had to set my hair after washing it (which took a lot of time and patience), and the relaxers made my hair dry, damaged and brittle. I eventually let my hair grow out to its natural curly state, but then found myself struggling with frizziness in the humid south Florida weather.

Caribbean Dream has changed my hair into silky, shiny, soft, smooth, sleekness! It is a breeze to manage, as I can just wash it and let it air dry, and it looks "done". This is very important to me, because as a busy professional, I don't have a lot of time to spend on my hair, and would rather not take the time to flatiron my hair every time I want a more elegant look. On days that I want to look extra-polished, it takes literally two minutes for me to get my hair perfectly straight with a flatiron. I love that my hair feels healthy, looks thicker, and I have the flexibility to wear my hair sleek and straight, slightly wavy, or cute and curly.

After the initial Caribbean Dream treatment, I could not wash my hair for 72 hours, but it looked perfect during that time, and I didn't do anything to it except comb it. After I washed it for the first time, I let it air dry, and it had more body and volume than during the first 72 hours. It looked very natural, and continued to be very soft. I didn't put anything in it at all because I wanted to see how it would look. What I found was that while it didn't frizz, it felt very light and the wind blew it around very easily. It felt really good, but looked more casual and carefree than the look I was going for. During the next two weeks, I experimented with putting on a silicone hair serum while the hair was still damp, and a light finishing cream on any day that I wanted extra shine. This combination has worked great, and my hair has continued to look and feel great.

After YEARS of relaxing; causing different textures in my hair ,

I tried the Keratin treatment. I got very sick, not once but twice
(with two different products).
